just got back from the blockbuster and got my first two rentals. gonna be a good week for dvds, gonna be a good week for new releases. but anyways...time to fire up the tivo...it's now time for my e3 coverage for day 2 (5.10.06) of this nerdfest. that's right, the console wars of the big three continue. let's get this party started...hold on to your butts... cuz here are my rantings:
- 'halo3' will be the last game in the series...it better end good, cuz the ending of halo2 sucked. but man, does this game look more beautiful then ever. 2007 baby.
- 'warhawk' for ps3 looks SWEET...an immersive air combat game: it will take advantage of ps3's motion sensitive controller.

- activision has acquired guitar hero developer red octane. can't wait for GUITAR HERO II!!!!!!
- RED STEEL is an adult fps for the Wii...it looks so f-ing badass...i mean there's not only gunplay but SWORDplay...can't wait to play this with the wii controller

- people need to stop making mmorpgs. enough already people. get a life. mmo's are fun...but this is overkill.
- so since the new legend of zelda is being released on the gamecube AND the wii...i'm gonna have to go change my reservation at babbage's.....oohhhhh how i love and hate you nintendo. i didn't think this new zelda game could look anymore badass...but seeing it played on the wii is just amazing...

- 'sonic wild fire' will be released on the wii...and it will take advantage of the controller...ohhhh so sweet..should be released in 2007

- seeing gears of war being played live is just amazing....this makes 3rd person shooting look amazing...it will define a new fps genre... called "stop and pop" plus a chainsaw gun, need i say more?...I LOVE IT
- wii's first racing title 'excite truck' looks sweeeeeeeeeet...it will be released soon after the wii's launch

- 'prey' the native american/alien invasion fps game being made with the doom3 engine looks wicked awesome,..dude, you can walk on walls and crap...and when you die in the game...it takes you to a minigame thing called 'death walk'...oooooh yessss... check it out:
