The Book of Jeff: e3 2006 coverage (day 3 of 4)

hello again. i'm back posting, cuz hey-it's not like i have anything better to do today. this is turning out to be a nice layed back day...much needed after the chaos of children yelling JEFFREYJEFFREYJEFFREYJEFFREYJEFFREY all weekend. after i watched the 2nd day of e3 i layed down and watched last thursday's and friday's conan o brien....ate some shrimp and rice...and went back to blockbuster. picked up the kiddie movie 'doogal' ...only because kevin smith voices a cartoon moose, and a movie i've never heard of called 'winter passing' ...i rented it because it stars will ferrell and zooey deschanel. (who both costarred together in 'elf') after a very enjoyable poop...i'm going back to it...two more shows, and 6 more hours of e3 goodness to go....here's my rantings for g4tv's coverage of e3 2006 day 3 (5.11.06):

superman games of the past have blown major monkey chunks. 'superman returns' is looking to be the first actual decent game based on the superman franchise (and the movie looks badass too ofcourse)
nintendo is going to bring gaming to EVERYONE...to people who have never gamed before. this is going to be the console that get's everyone to play games with the newly dubbed 'wii-mote.' they are going to KICK ASS and TAKE NAMES with WII.
the sequel to GOD OF WAR looks to be even more BADASS then the first. it picks up right where the first one left off. kratos is now the god of war. kratos is bloodier grittier and sexxxxxier...check it out

did i mention that there is also gonna be a GOD OF WAR MOVIE??!?!? baaaaaaaaadass...
metal gear solid 4 may be the most anticipated game for the ps3...even though i havn't been into the series thus far...i may have to play this one...it just looks so beautiful
the new warioware game seems to be the most innovative use of the controller thus far....we'll have to wait and see...
with all the wii news, the ds may sort of be overshadowed this year...but there are a bunch of new games coming out for the gameboy with two screens...oh and the all look oh so wicked awesome....
like the legend of zelda: phantom hourglass....with very innovative use of the dual screens

a starfox game for ds! awesome!!! this game looks nothing short of amazing. finally some r-wing goodness that was lacking from starfox armada....

plus many other ds games like yoshi's island2...are lookin sweeeeeeeeeet
'yakuza' by sega looks badass
the next generation sonic the hedgehog is going to be amazing. it's going to bring back the thrill of the o.g. sonic games bringing hardcore gamers back...since they past games have sort of been geared towards kids
the new pirates of the carribbean game actually looks good...with the likeness of THE DEPP...the last one didnt have that...so that's an improvement
loco roco looks really fun. for psp. looks addictive

lucasarts is truely closing the gap between films and games....the newest l.a. game that i'm most excited about is a new indiana jones game coming out in the summer of 2007...looks amazing / next gen gameplay will be changed forever with this new indi game... with a new technology called 'euphoria' ....it basically gives every character in the game a sort of 'nervous system' so that the characters will react differently every time you play. unpredictable game evironment. AWESOME. also some new stuff with starwars. new lego starwars game. and a new starwars game.....based around the life of vader....oh lucasarts...you may be gaining my respect again...i love you...
the new scarface game looks fun...with lots of hollywood voice actors including tommy lee and jason mewes? haha ok....but ofcourse no al pacino though...damn you al pacino....

i can't believe i havn't heard of this until now....a resevior dogs game?!!! BADASS lookss soooooooo sweet. you follow mr blue, mr blonde, mr pink....ohhhh yesssss.....
