jeffrey at the movies

i saw two good movies this week.

the other day i went to go see 'you kill me.' what a great, out of the ordinary, dark comedy. ben kingsley. tea leoni. luke wilson. ben kingsley plays an old hitman who is getting sloppy, because he is a raging alcoholic. so his mob friends send him to aa, and make him start working at a funeral home for the time being, where he meets tea leoni, and luke wilson becomes his sponser. doesn't sound that funny....but it was pretty funny.

last night i went to go see 'i now pronounce you chuck and larry.'

it was your typical sandler movie. fart jokes. yet it still hasn't gotten old. it was pretty funny. all the usual cameos. although i thought the best part was ***spoilers*** ving rhames's cameo...he plays a tough cop who is inspired to come out by chuck and larry. good stuff. also kevin jame's son in the movie is hilarious.

go see those movies.

so it's saturday morning, and if i was a better nerd...i woulda went and got my copy of the LAST HARRY POTTER BOOK last night at midnight. but....i reserved it at toys r us, who didn't open at midnight last night. so i'm getting in the shower and going now.
