friday. wake up. get in the shower and everything early, as if i have something important to do. read fables vol.1 tp. went to see clerks2 again. and yes, it was just as funny. stayed after the credits to see my name. yes, if you didnt know....kevin smith put the names of the first 10,000 to add him as a myspace friend. isn't that crazy? kevin smith: a man of the people. i waited, and there were so many names scrolling so fast i couldn't find mine. guess i'll have to wait for the dvd. came home. read 100 bullets vol.2 tp. ate dinner. then i watched some tivo-ed 'who wants to be a superhero?' ...thursdays @ 9 on sci-fi. this may be the nuttiest, funniest reality tv i have ever seen. hosted by stan 'the man' lee... comes 'who wants to be a superhero?' the winner gets his or her own comic book, and an original sci fi movie made of them. ok. it gets better. all these grown up people who think they are actual real life superheroes compete. they all live in a 'secret lair' together. they compete in different competitions that will test the true makings of a superhero. this may be the most hilarious thing i have ever seen.... and i am probably the only one watching it. oh well... your the man stan lee. after that, i read 100 bullets vol.3 tp. and then i came to sit at my computer to blog. and, speaking of comics.... i'm leaving for chicago tomorrow. i'll be spending a week with family.... and then i'm off....
to see sightings of C-list celebrities, storm troopers, vulcans, scantily dressed women, fat people dressed in spandex, and more comics than the eye can see. that's right: it's wizardworld 2006 baby. i can't wait. so next time i will be blogging from chi cago people.
