so last night angela and i went to see 'stardust.' and i was pleasantly surprised.
***spoilers***
this is a fairytale. it is about a boy (triston) who sets out to find a falling star (claire daines). there are also many other characters: flying pirates, (one of whom is robert deniro) and like seven brothers who are all out to find the same thing as triston, and all of whom are trying to kill each other in the process. the story is in the same vein as the princess bride, or the neverending story. your girlfriends will love it. ...and surprisingly, you will too. i really liked it. i thought angela would too...because she loves claire daines, and the princess bride. but she said it was too predictable.... ya, it was. but aren't all fairytales? so what, they are fun...nonetheless. i recently watched the princess bride, and hated it. i loathe that movie. angela hyped it up so much. i didn't think it was funny ...at all. i think you have to of watched that movie alot when you were a child, to appreciate it. but anyways, everything i didn't like about the princess bride....this movie improves on, and does it better. why you ask? because NEIL GAIMAN is a master writer, and storyteller. the characters, story, world, and surroundings and so much better than the princess bride. ugh. anyways, i really liked this flick. go see it.
and btw, ONE MORE DAY until SUPERBAD! ...the movie i've been waiting ALL SUMMER to see.
later.
