jeffrey: free-er of painted turtles.

yesterday angela and i went to soak city. we laid in the lazy pools and went on the big raft ride. we only stayed for a couple of hours. on the way home...when we were almost to her house, something happend. i saw something in the road, and almost ran it over...i swerved to avoid it. it was a little turtle crossing the road. so i turned around, and went back to pick it up. it was a little baby painted turtle. so angela drove as i held it. we got back to her house. now, 7 year old jeffrey would of been all over this, wanting to keep it as a pet. but 22 year old jeffrey sat and thought.....i really wanted to keep this turtle, but i knew i shouldn't. chanh and alan wouldn't be too happy. plus i didn't have anywhere to keep it. although i did really want it, since my tortoise of 4 years has recently run away. but no, i decided that angela and i should let it go. so we walked down the the creek beside her house, and set the painted turtle free. i felt like an adult at that moment....for some reason. i should of kept the turtle...but it's probably happier now that i could of ever made it...swimming around in that creek. we went out to dinner at this chinese place we like in huron, came back and watched 'big love.' ...i want another turtle.

so today is dvduesday, so i'll probably stop by blockbuster first. then trent, ang, and i are going to eat lunch at the good old pizza hut buffet. then i guess i'm hanging out at angela's all day, and then coming back here after dinner to pack. so this will most likely be my last blog till next week. wizard world is gonna be great, i've been looking forward to it all year long. it's gonna be really fun. so when i return i'll post a big blog, and post all my funny pics too.
