*spoilers*
the 4th installment in the diehard series does not dissapoint. bruce willis is back, as an older...balder john mclane. but still embodies all that is john mclane - sarcastic, hard headed bruce. and as always...some of the action scenes are completely outrageous, yet...it does not take you out of the flick, because he's john motherfucking mclane. yes he can drive a cop car into a helicopter, yes he can take out a jet fighter plane with a semi truck and his whits. and justin long who plays a hacker, turned good....is hilarious. it's always great when they find an actor who can play off of willis. (hence sam jackson in 3)kevin smith is also in it...he plays another hacker, 'the warlock.' my only complaint may be the fact that it was pg-13, when all the others were a strong R rating. yes, he says his catchphrase...yet it is cut off at the end with an explosion or some crap....no wait it was a gun shot. so it was pronounced = "yippee kiyay mother f**blam**er!!! " not cool. but other than that, it's good stuff....go see it on july the 4th (or transformers...i'll prob see that this wee as well.) great stuff. so i guess the order now goes from best to worst: 1,3,4,2. because diehard 2 is pretty horrible.
i went to the drive in later that night to see fantastic four again, I LOVE IT, and oceans 13....which just sucked it royally.
today i'm going to columbus to see ozma...i'm sure when i get back i'll have a nice, hearty blog post for you.
