US FIRST!!!!@#$%&*

what a weekend. where to start. the motor city comic con was wonderful. we drove into detroit on thursday. got there fine, without getting lost. the hotel and room was cool. people in michigan (besides the nerds at the comiccon) were generally mean...i was called "you fucker" in traffic...A lady screamed 'us first!!' while rushing out of an elavator. we arrive to the con while getting -alittle lost- and it's relatively close to the hotel. chris rupp (my comic book guy from his shop in fremont) got angela and i two passes, and we got in free...getting to skip the long lines. it was sweet....a nice little gesture for his BEST COSTUMER.... oh and angela and i got to scalp a ticket for the first time. she bought a ticket, cuz we thought chris could only get me one.

the place where the comic con was held was pretty big...and the comic con was alot bigger than i expected. it was maybe about a quarter of what wizard world is like. got some sweet deals. a few runs -the weird, and -gravity. some signed and original spider-woman comics. a few signed comics.

i also met a sand trooper-



and the original chewbacca. the dude was a giant with humungo long giant hands.


and the original boba fett. the dude was really nice and surprisingly hyper -telling me that i was going to the dark side while posing for a picture...


i met billy west! the voice of ren and stimpy and alot of the voices on futurama. i asked him wprking on the howard stern show...which led into him giving a little schpeal about sticking to your convictions. he was really nice.



and a storm trooper!


and im a huge fan of tom savini-the man behind some of the best special effects and crap on horror flicks...hes the dude in dusk till dawn with a gun for a penis


and out of the blue--we see the fucking guy who played the SOUP NAZI!!


AND THEN WE MET KING KONG



and the whole time i was really looking forward to seeing stan sakai--the creator of usagi yojimbo--that little ronin samurai rabbit i love so much



and then we saw the guy who created 'mouseguard'...a really cool comic i just let angela read. i asked him when the new comic run was coming out.

it was a fun time. the guys who were in the original reality show 'stan lee's who wants to be a super hero' were there. fat momma, feedback, and the ex stripper guy who were in the show were there. angela showed fat momma and feedback were to get condiments. a lot of good deals, signed comics, cool people. MY people. angela and i BOTH WON DOOR PRIZES!? what the f is with that. free old comics and angela won a weird japanese bear thingy...i think she enjoyed the anime parts of the convention, buying some stuff for herself. cool nerdy tshirts. a fun time. we came home. fun times.

then angela and i came home and watched the office finale. *spoilers* PAM AND JIM ARE GOING ON A DATE****FINALLY.

will and i went to the japanese steakhouse.

we went to see ' the ex' *spoilers*

it was surprisingly hilarious. i love it when everyone says a movie is going to be horrible, then you go..and its great. love it. zach braff and jason bateman were hilarious. bateman plays a cripple and a major dickhead--it's good at it. funny stuff.

now i am about to go to sleep i guess. will angela and i are gonna try to go to cedar point tomorrow. should be fun.
