the office: lord, beer me strength.

It seemed awfully coincidental that the same week we are inundated with apology interviews starring none other than 30 Rock star Alec Baldwin, The Office would spend a painfully short 22 minutes dealing with similar subject matter. In “Product Recall”, Michael Scott shifts his Chrysler Seabring into Damage Control, after a batch of Dunder-Mifflin paper features a cartoon animal sex watermark seemingly inspired by every dirty European postcard ever produced. Said cartoon officially inspires favorite Office quote of the night, courtesy of Dwight — who has been on fire lately:

"I grew up on a farm. I have seen animals having sex in every position imaginable. Goat on chicken. Chicken on goat. Couple of chickens doing a goat, couple of pigs watching. Whoever drew this got it exactly right."

There was a lot to love about this episode, from what most would consider the best Jim-Dwight Prank Opening and Closing in the history of the series (”Bleah bleah, a little comment.”), to Andy and Jim’s duet caught on the lipstick cam, to Michael threatening to phone in the Ungrateful Biatch Hotline. Not to mention last night was basically Creed’s coming out party, with the sticky-fingered hobo wisely getting more airtime than ever before.

But, is it only me, or have you guys also noticed how obvious Kelly Kapoor has become this season? Her character has certainly gone through many personality makeovers: Season 1 she was quiet and normal seeming, then by Season 2, she had morphed into the lovably ditzy Kelly always looking for “Sweet Cheeks’” attention. But lately, her character has become so cartoony, so over-the-top, that it’s turned from lovable into a kind of tongue-in-cheek parody of a parody that’s pretty unbelievable. Check out this deleted scene to see what I’m talking about. Do any of you know what I’m talking about, or should I just stop while I’m ahead? Stop? Got you.

Aaaaand we’re back! OK, here are some things you need to know. Officetally has put up the best quotes of the night — head over there if you want to relive the hilarity. And Just Jared has some HILARIOUS! stills from next week’s sure to be amazing (not to mention supersized) episode “Beach Games.” Please stare at Stanley’s face for at least 45 seconds.

New Office episodes for the next three weeks — hooray!
