Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan

so ang and i went to see BORAT. and it was everything i'd thought it would be. first off, Sasha Baren Cohen is a COMEDIC GENIOUS. there is no one out there like him. if you havn't seen 'da ali g show' ...go out and get the dvds. he is soooooo funny. so the plot of the movie: borat comes to the us and a to interview, and learn the ways of americans. he then stumbles upon a show called 'baywatch.' he then travels across america to meet pamela anderson, to make her his wife. this type of gorilla filmmaking, where borat runs around interviewing people, being very offensive, bringing up racial stereotypes, and getting the real sides of people to come out is somewhat disturbing, yet at the same time--the funniest thing i have ever seen. sasha baren cohen raises the bar, and at the same time invents a new type of comedy. he brings performance art to another level. he makes it hip for 'the hipsters to mock prejudice.' he interviews a humor coach, a feminists group, sings the kazakhstan national anthem at a rodeo, learns ediquete, learns to speak ebonics in atlanta georgia, all while searching for pamela anderson. the movie is hilarious. the theatre was literally packed with kids. it was wonderful. rottentomatoes.com gave it a 95%....that's one of the highest ratings ever. better than 'the departed.' now that he's made an ali g movie, a borat movie, there is only one character left for sasha to do...and that's 'bruno' ....his gay austrian fashion guru.

the movie was glorious. NIIIIIIIICE. I LIKE. HIGH FIVE!
