10-12-06: another GREAT time!

oh where to start. yesterday i woke up, had a mundane morning. ate lunch. bla blabla. went to class. learned a few things. came home. got ready. went back to firelands to meet angela. she was babysitting around there, and i guess it was just easier for her to meet back at school. she looked great and smelled really good as always. ummmmm i lost my train of thought uhhhh ok, aaaaaand thheeeeen the fun began. we always have a great time. and this was another one. we left for cleveland, listening to weezer on the way. everything went smoothly direction wise, until we got there. then things got kind of interesting. so we get downtown, and start going one direction. then we figure this direction is the wrong way, because we figure the grog shop is right downtown. by this time we're very hungry... and we stop at a wendys. which is closed. we figure it may just be the dining room so we pull up to the drive thru. ooooook. closed as well. we giggle about our luck, and move on. we go the other way, fanagle our way around cleveland...and figure just to park, because we think we're getting close. we walk a little bit from my car...upwind....cold...brrrr.... till we run into some random looking sketchy dude and decide to ask him for directions. he tells us how to get to the grog shop, and we figure out we're going in the opposite direction, that we were right the first time. the dude asks us to take him with us, which is exactly NOT the way i would like to die. so we politley say 'ehhhhhhh' and go back to the car. we start driving back the other way. backtrack. so we're driving...and starting to get lost once again. at this time, it's starting to get a bit comical, because it seems like we will never find the grog shop. why is this place so hard to find?? is it in the middle of nowhere?? to tell you the truth, i really wouldn't of cared if we missed the show altogether. i just have a great time everytime i'm with angela, nomatter what we do...even when we're lost in cleveland. but she probably would of felt really guilty, thinking she got us lost...but hey, without her...we would of never found the place. you know i have absolutley no sense of direction or anything like that. so anyways, we drive around in circles for a bit...decide to turn around cuz we think we're going the wrong way again...then angela sees this random lady walking down the street, and decides to roll down the window and asks for directions. and she knows where the grog shop is!!! turns out it was really close to where we were giving up and turning around....GOOD THING angela decided to ask that lady how to get there, or we really never would of gotten there at all. at this point it's like 7:30 we thought the show started @ 7, but angela and i are verrrrrry hungry... so we decide to stop in a place called 'jimmie johns' and have a sub. i remember this place being better than it was last night. not. too. good. owell, sorry angela. ummm so we get there, and have to wait in line for alittle bit. so we figure the show hasn't even started yet. the doors probably just opened @ 7. we get in. stand around for a bit. and the show starts. perfect. everything WORKED OUT. the show was great. michael showalter came on first, with his unique style of comedy. at first i figured he had no material and was just going with it, because he would just respond to every random shout in the audience. which is so hilarious. comedians usually get sick of them after the 2nd or 3rd yell. but no, not showalter, he responds to every one. his set was funny, he decides to break out his ipod and make fun of random songs...which was different. he shows a unique slide show with dirty pictures of smurfs. and he caps off his performance with a not so nice review of their show stella, and his reponse to it. he was really funny....it made me wanna show angela some of his stuff...like his movie 'the baxter' and 'wet hot american summer.' both awesome. both showalter. the only kinda crappy part was we couldnt see anything the whole time, so we went towards the back to maybe see better. that didnt work. but angela being crafty like she is, sat up on a little ledge usually for people to sit their drinks on, but she fits on and can see over everyone. so i felt better. that was funny. so after sho, michael ian black is on next. we decide to fanagle our way to the front. i always feel like a jackass pushing my way to the front of the crouds for shows, but hey...we did what we had to do. i got us all the way up front to see black. by just saying 'excuse me' alot of times. hey, it worked. i really wanted to see michael ian black, because he's pretty much my favorite out of the stella group. hey, "i love the 80s." his set was hilarious. kind of ranchy at times, like how he opened.... inviting everyone on the stage for train style ass sex. but he was so funny. he ends his set by reading two of his myspace blog posts. his last one really brought down the house...entitled "if i had a slave." really funny. the only bad part about his performance...being behind two weird people. and the guy behind me WOULD NOT STOP fidgeting and kind of molesting me with his crotch. ewwwwwwwww. um ya, so i kept trying to move up. haha. so we leave, head back to my car, and head home. we get alittle lost again, but you know, whatever. we eventually find our way, yet again...thanks to angela. the woman of all trades. we get back to firelands, decide to still hang out (which i was very happy about...i didn't want the night to end) and we both drive to walmart in search of alcohol. and ofcourse walmart only sells beer, ...i mean hicks wouldn't want to drink ANYTHING ELSE...so we just end up going to the bp across from kmart and finding some. we drive to her house so she can drop off her car, and then we drive to my house. we start off playing warioware, cuz i really wanted her to play that game. followed by alittle more of 'the office.' i hope she likes the show, and is not just humoring me, cuz i guess i do obsess about it. i end up lust shutting if off after a couple episodes, cuz i see that she has fallen asleep on my couch again. so pretty and peaceful looking... i didn't want to wake her up. so i got on my computer, and ofcourse a noise goes off...and she wakes up. we stayed up all night yet again. i really have never felt compelled to do this with any other girl before, but angela just makes me want to. she probably thinks i just don't want to talk at all, but i try, and i'm trying harder to let it all out and tell her whatever she wants. i just really like listening to her... about all her experiences, all her opinions, and whatnot. she's such a complex, interesting, and fun girl. so many layers. so many loves. i just love to listen to her talk, she says it'll get old, but i don't think so. so it gets to be around 6am, and i end up taking her home. 'the safety dance' by those men not wearing hats comes on sirius radio on the way home...i thought it was the perfect song to cap off the perfect night. i drove home singing to myself. i'm weird. i get home, lay in bed, and just think about how much fun i had....kind of winding down. she ends up calling me to make sure i went to bed, which was nice and cute. we talk for alittle bit. afterwards i really didn't go to sleep for a good 30-40 minutes....just thinking about how glad i am to of met her.....LIGHTS OUT. i wake up alittle groggy, you'd be groggy too with like 3-4 hours of sleep. i still feel alittle sick, maybe i would feel better if i would get some sleep. buy you know, that's the price i pay...and i'm willing to. it's worth it. i can sleep when i'm dead. so what's going on today? i dunno...i havn't decided yet. i'm gonna get in the shower here, and then probably head on over to fremont for the weekly stack of comics. probably hang out a bit, and talk nerd stuff. oh how i enjoy my geeky conversations at rupps comics. and then i'll either head to toledo to hang with friends, or head back to norwalk to hang with a friend and go see a movie. havn't decided yet. what should i do? IPOH...or a movie? anyways, i can't believe you just sat and read through this boring ass blog post...wouldn't you rather be accomplishing things? go outside! do stuff!

later noobs.
(and see angela: a whole blog post without talking about television...are you proud?)
