dvduesday...

waddup? still takin it easaaaay here in chicago. yesterday oanh took me to the train station to show me how to get around, if i wanted to take it from the rosemont convention center, but it didnt even go there, so we left. we then weNT to e.b. games so tag and michael could buy 'super smash bros.' for gamecube, their new obsession. afterwards oanh took me to borders, so i could browse. i picked up two things. isn't it crazy that i read for fun? weird huh? picked up the frank miller hardcover '300' ...which is about to be adapted to a feature film. and i also picked up a book i've been meaning to get for a while called 'everything bad is good for you.' such a great book. it's about how popular culture (video games, tv, film, the internet) is not dumbing us down, like everyone says, but is actually making us smarter. such a good read. pick it up. it makes me feel smart....i'm like halfway through it. today we havn't really been doing anything. it is tuesday, which means it's DVDUESDAY. since i can't make my usual rounds back and fourth to blockbuster, i asked oanh if she could take me to the local best buy. because i HAD to pick up the curb your enthusiasm season 5, and v for vendetta. ya, i coulda just rented and pirated v, but i wanted to 2 disc edition, because the buster of blocks usually never gets the 2 disc. and it's such a great flick....i need the 2 disc edition. so other than that i have nothing else to say, oh yeah, did i mention that there's only like ONE AND A HALF MORE DAYS TILL I FREAKING GO TO WIZARD WORLD 2006?!?!?!?!?!?! YA THAT'S RIGHT BABY.
