moooooooooooondays

ola. yet another boring and un-eventful weekend spent with my lonesome for yours truly. this is where i blog about my boring ass life...and you feel better about yours. ok? let's start. let us recap. saturday. woke up. showered. drove to fremont for rupp's 15th anniversary sale. everything was on sale. all the trades and hardcovers were 50% off...and all the warehouse comics were 25 cents each. sweetness. so i went downstairs into the warehouse...to look at the old comics. a geek's dream. the warehouse is gigantic...filled with hundreds of longboxes....with tons of old comics. never have i seen so many dorks...outside of a comiccon. we all sat there...kneeling infront of the boxes...looking through and looking through...looking at comics. geeks were filling up huge boxes, i just filled a smallbox. i only spent like an hour and a half looking through the boxes to fill this smallbox...but there were dudes there filling up like 3 or 4 giant long boxes....they must of been there all day long. geeky, huh? came home. watched superman4 ....i watched 3 earlier in the week. they werent as bad as i thought they'd be...although they were kinda bad. although richard prior was funny in 3 as a 'computer genious' haha and john cryer was funny in 4 as lex luthor's nephew. ohhh the 80's make me laugh. then i read for the rest of saturday night as i recall. sunday. continued reading. picked up a few great trades this weekend: frank miller and geoff darrow's gritty masterpiece "hard boiled," "superman:red sun," "superman:birthright," and the very big...which i am still reading, "earth x." aaaaaaaaaaand that was my weekend. super-lame. i know. but remember, i don't have a life? oh yeah. what's going on this week? you guessed it. nothing. two more weeks till i leave for chicago. about 4 more days till CLERKS2!! and lady in the water, monster house, and my super ex-girlfriend. let's see what's new this week....
