do mutants that live in the desert really wear top hats?

so yesterday matt and i went to catch a matinee of 'the hills have eyes.' if you havn't heard...remake of an 80's wes craven flick....about mutants who live in the desert. family goes on a trip and listens to the hillybilly at the gas station when he tells them to take a shortcut into the desert. bad idea. in my opinion...lots of horror movies that have come out lately just plain suck. i havn't really been scared since i watched the original shining. keeping that in mind i just watch horror movies for the hell of it. they don't scare me, most of the time they just make me laugh. well this movie was actually pretty decent. what makes a horror movie decent in jeffrey's eyes? let me tell you. good special effects. when you don't question the crap that happens and it looks real, that's good special effects. this movie was pretty bloody. and it all looked realistic....from the shotguns to the face....to the back of an axe plunged into a dude's eye. pretty sweet. and i left satisfied. sure, most of the people died...that's expected...but the main character hunted down every last bad dude and killed the shit out of them. sweet. plus the mutants looked pretty nifty. being that i am a weird boy i thought it was halarious that one of the mutants was wearing a top hat. i thought that was kind of strange. so lets see if i had to grade it from one to ten i'd give it a.......7. that's decent right? pretty good. and what is the first rule of these stupid slasher flicks? YOU NEVER TRUST THE HILLBILLY GUY AT THE BROKEN DOWN GAS STATION...he's not gonna tell you the right way to go....are you crazy? good stuff. then we came back ordered some pizza...hung out. alot better then going to norwalk bars with all the townies. that would of been pathetic. so today marks the second day in a row where i have gotten up early to run on the treadmill...let's see how long this kick lasts. and i still wanna see 'v for vendetta'....that looks sweet. alright well, later internet.
